How to Report an Absence
- Call Bentley's Attendance line - 734-397-6360 / Option 2
- Please call prior to 9 A.M. as we begin to make attendance calls home at that time.
- Submit an absence through MiStar Parent Connection (Guide on how to report an absence in MiStar)
- Provide a note to the main office within 24 hours
Attendance is taken in the A.M. and P.M.
Missing more than 1 hours of instruction in the A.M. or P.M. (late arrivals / early dismissals) will be marked as a half day absence.
Tardy Policy:
- Students that are not in their classroom at 8:55 A.M. are considered tardy.
- All students who are tardy must be accompanied to the main office with a parent/guardian & sign in using the Safe Visitor kiosk.
- At the elementary level, attendance is taken in the A.M. and P.M.
- Missing more than 1 hour of instruction in the A.M. or P.M. (late arrivals/early dismissals) will be marked as a half day absence.
Vacations/Extended Leaves:
- If your student is going to be absent, for any reason, for 3 or more consecutive school days, please fill out the P-CCS Student Absence Form.
P-CCS Truancy Policy:
- 5+ consecutive unverified absences
- 10+ total absences in 30 days
- 30+ absences (verified or not) in one academic year
